There's a new sheriff in town

After a slightly longer time than I’d have liked, I’ve earned my Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate badge.

Azure Data Engineer Associate Badge

I took both the required exams (there’s now only one; DP-203, which is in beta at time of writing) as proctored exams which Justin has done a great job of describing, and from my personal experience I’d echo his recommendation of getting active before you sit down for up to 3 hours.

Whilst I passed both of them comfortably (and on the first try 🤓) I found that there was a lot of content to cover, most notably in the expansion of data storage solutions and with security and compliance.

I’m going to take a short break from Microsoft certifications (I’ve sat 7 exams in the last 4 weeks) to free up the time to focus on some other technical training.

You can view and verify the rest of my badges on my Acclaim Profile, which is starting to look like the sash of an over-achieving boy scout.
